I made this card for my mother in law for helping me start my "Sewing career" Kind of cute, eh?
And this, this I have been just about giddy over. I made this absolutely crazy and loud skirt for Lindsay for Christmas. I had oodles of fabric left over so I made her Build a Bear a matching skirt - which turned into a dress. :) I'm making them for each of my girls now in different fabric. I hope she's as excited as I am about it! (And I hope she doesn't figure out how to check my blog and sees this).

This post is for my crafting sister in Washington...I tried to send an email, but attaching all these pictures was taking forever! So I decided I should update my craft blog while I was at it!
The new glasses...Kristen requested a picture and I know she'll check this blog, so here ya go!
The pumpkin idea that I stole from Amannda's porch (I should clarify that I didn't STEAL them, I stole the idea and made them - we've had a few things stolen off porches around here lately).

My beaded watch band that I made at Super Saturday this past weekend. Love it and can't wait to try to make another one.
The other one I bought...probably because she called it the "Twilight" band. Smart women. Very smart.
The covers I made for my ugly throw pillows. Notice how awful my walls look with my bedding? That's my next project, we just can't decide on a color for the walls yet!
And the Christmas cards I made the other night while watching Gilmore Girls. As long as I'm doing something, it's not wasteful time!

July crafts

I got this idea from Pioneer Party's VT message for the month. I changed it up a little bit. It says, "When life hands you lemons...make lemonade." And it hangs on a water bottle with a packet of lemonade that you pour in the water.
This is yet another block project. I didn't really like how it turned out - I goofed and did the stripes vertical instead of horizontal-, but it has grown on me this month.

Today's projects

I think my goal should be to post once a month, eh?

Today I finished up a few projects that I've been working on.

My sister Tracy bought the pattern for these cute little Father's Day blocks, so we mass-produced them for her Primary class of 7, my class of 11, and my niece's class off 6. So, if your kid is in my Primary class - they will be bringing one of these home in a few weeks! It was practically free to make, I just had to buy the little clothespins.

And this is my bag for card swap this month. I fell in love with the paper and had to have it. It was fun this month to make a bag instead of a card, but lots more work (and $$). I'm excited to see the 8 bags I get back!

Teacher appreciation week

Next week is teacher appreciation week at school. I was asked to help and I had SO MUCH FUN doing these projects! You know when you have a vision in your head of how things will turn out? Neither of these ended up how I saw them, but I'm still pleased!
Her class is totally out of gluesticks. Maddie has been complaining about all week, so I made her a glue stick bouquet with 30 glue sticks. It's a little over-stuffed with flowers, but oh well! I filled the jar with M&M's. Thanks to Jennica for the sticks.

And this is for her door. Those are bananas. Jeramy gave me a hard time about the moons with monkeys. Each banana has a child's name on it. (the blank ones are for the afternoon class). Thanks to Christi for letting me drool all over her Cricut Expressions.
And thanks to Marie for letting me do this - it's been so fun to have a project to keep me busy this week!

magnet board

Here's the kids' magnet board for the playroom. I'm not crazy about the paper I chose, but oh well. Macie has already peeled all the letters off, so I'll probably just redo the whole things soon enough.

It's been a while...

Here's a few of my lastest projects. This is my card for card swap with the magical pink/black ink.

These are the famous Easter blocks. Not as awful to make as the Valentine's Day blocks. My father is a very patient man.
And I did this bag for a baby shower I'm going to tonight. I am loving the Doodlecharm font for my Cricut.

Hopefully more posts to come...
